China loves pineo from the moon and back. <\/strong>Pineo’s natural mineral water was the favorite during the drinking-water competition in Guangzhou, China.<\/p>\n

Pineo with its delicious taste was once again awarded some international prizes.<\/h2>\n

At the largest premium water<\/strong><\/em> trade show of its kind, the Guangzhou trade show in China, Pineo received silver for the tastiest water in the premium still water (gas-free water)<\/strong> category.<\/p>\n

Pineo won gold at the Water Taste Awards<\/em><\/strong> in April, and silver in June at the Water Expo<\/strong> Water Taste Competition.<\/em><\/p>\n

Because Pineo received gold for the tastiest water in the world at the Water Taste Awards 2019<\/em> in Stockholm, Pineo was selected to participate in China’s most important drinking water competition, the Water Expo<\/em><\/strong>Water Tasting competition<\/em> in Guangzhou. This time, Pineo took the silver Award home. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

The Water Expo<\/em><\/strong> is the largest and most exclusive international trade fair for premium drinking water in China.<\/p>\n

The exhibition center in Guangzhou, where the exhibition took place, is the largest and most modern exhibition complex in Asia. The city of Guangzhou has 14 million inhabitants.<\/p>\n

A large variety of different drinking water products were presented in the exhibition hall, such as natural mineral water, soda water, glacier water, but also distilled and medical water.<\/p>\n

A special highlight of the fair was the large international tasting competition<\/strong>, where about 20 international and 30 Chinese brands were selected to participate<\/p>\n

A round table discussion<\/strong> with several water tasters also took place to discuss the different waters, to discuss future water trends, and to assess food pairing between the different waters and Cantonese dishes.Pineo turned out to match Cantonese food perfectly .<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jason Kuok, water taster (sommelier) | Macau (People’s Republic of China)<\/h3>\n

Born and raised in Macau, the thrill of adventure brought Jason to Dallas, Las Vegas and Honolulu.
\nHowever, it was during his student days in Las Vegas that his interest and natural curiosity about water was aroused and eventually the thought led him to embark on a journey to become certified in Germany as a water taster.<\/p>\n

Now, as the first and only certified water taster in Macau and Hong Kong, Jason is also the owner of “Aqueduct”, a company he started in Macau in 2016, with the aim of distributing the selection of imported natural mineral water.
\nspreading the message that “water is not just water”.<\/p>\n
